State of Delaware and the Weinberg Center Co-Sponsoring a panel at the ACC 2015 Annual Meeting
The State of Delaware and the Weinberg Center are co-sponsoring a panel, “Board Composition, Refreshment and Tenure - Hot Issues for Corporate Boards, ” at the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2015 Annual meeting in Boston. Participating on the panel are: Glenn Booraem, Principal & Fund Treasurer, Vanguard Group, Inc.; Charles Elson, Edgar S. Woolard, Jr., Chair of Corporate Governance and Professor of Finance and Director, Weinberg Center; Rakhi Kumar, Head of Corporate Governance, State Street Global Advisors, and Ann Mulé, Associate Director, Weinberg Center and the Moderator. Both ACC members and non-members can register for the meeting. In addition this panel will be webcast live, and one will be able to register for this single live webcast. Weinberg Center/PwC Webcast on Board Composition
PwC’s Investor Resource Institute and the Center for Board Governance together with the University of Delaware’s John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance in the Lerner College of Business and Economics held a webcast discussion on “Current Issues Relating to Board Composition”. With today’s investors increasingly more focused on board composition, the panelists reviewed the critical issues of board composition and discussd how boards can address investor governance concerns including independent director industry expertise and other director skill sets, diversity, board evaluations, tenure and refreshment.

The Center hosted F. William McNabb III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment companies, as the John L. Weinberg Distinguished Series speaker for the Fall of 2014.
Weinberg Center –Thought Leader on Board Composition
Ann C. Mulé, Associate Director, and Charles M.
