Management Information Systems B.S. + Business Analytics and Information Management M.S. Accelerated Degree Program (4+1)

The B.S. in management information systems and M.S. in business analytics and information management 4+1 option provides high quality management information students the opportunity to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree at the same time.
The M.S. in business analytics and information management complements the B.S. in management information systems by providing an in-depth study of the business analytics knowledge required in all 21st century organizations.
Program Highlights
The program integrates undergraduate and graduate studies, and therefore you can complete both degrees in 5 years.
The 4+1 program enables you to add an in-depth study of business analytics to your management information systems skills and knowledge, enhancing your career opportunities.
Program Requirements
The credit hour requirements are the same as those for the B.S. in management information systems and M.S. in business analytics and information management if pursued separately, a total of 150 credit hours.
Two graduate courses required for the M.S. in business analytics and information management may be used to satisfy the “free” electives required for the undergraduate degree. Students in the 4+1 program are permitted to take graduate classes as part of their academic studies, usually after the junior year.
Admission to the Accelerated Degree Program
Apply for admission to the 4+1 program during the first semester of your senior year.
You should have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or better. You will need to complete management information systems courses with a grade of C or higher. You must complete all courses specified for the freshman and sophomore years in your concentration area of study.
Tuition and Fees
During your first four years in the program, you pay undergraduate tuition and fees. During the fifth year of study, and any additional time if it becomes necessary, applicable tuition and fees are those for graduate students.
