A Delaware Growth Agenda report published this summer by the Delaware Business Roundtable ranks Financial Services Sector as the state’s largest traded sector. Though the sector suffered slightly during the Great Recession, it outperformed the US Financial Services sector, growing almost 22 percent between 2010 and 2015.

The nation’s large national and international financial services firms continue to invest in their Delaware operations. JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, Barclaycard, and Capital One have all expanded their Delaware operations within the last five years.

Near and long-term growth in financial services will bring a demand for Lerner College MBA and specialized master’s graduates in fields such as accounting, finance and information systems.
