Amanda Boone is an instructor of management in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware, where she teaches courses in human resource management and organizational development. She is dedicated to preparing students for the complexities of today’s workplace by combining academic knowledge with practical applications from her professional experience.
Amanda has been part of the University of Delaware community for more than a decade, first serving as an adjunct instructor before transitioning into a full-time faculty role. Before her academic career, she worked in human resources with experience in employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management and organizational development. This foundation allows her to provide students with practical insights into organizational effectiveness.
She holds a bachelor of science in psychology with a minor in business and a master of business administration with a concentration in human resources, both from York College of Pennsylvania. Her background equips her to approach management and organizational behavior from a people-centered perspective while also emphasizing strategic outcomes.
