Biography

Biography

David Shankman has over 30 years of experience as a strategist, brand manager and research/insight practitioner. He has held key roles at leading consumer products companies, including Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson and Cadbury, both in domestic and international markets. Additionally, David has worked with top consultancies such as Price Waterhouse, FutureBrand, Accenture and Mercer, as well as several innovation firms.

David’s teaching philosophy is rooted in a student-centered approach that emphasizes creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. His goal is to empower students to take ownership of their learning, fostering deeper understanding and helping to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications.

David is also the founder of Strat Edge IQ, an market research firm that leverages AI and other technologies to efficiently deliver actionable insights. StratEdge serves a variety of industry verticals, helping clients achieve their strategic objectives using innovative methodologies.

David holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Albany State University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

He also a member of the Seton Hall University Market Research Council.
