Dawn Haw-Young

Biography

Dawn Haw-Young is an adjunct faculty at University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.

Dawn currently holds a career in State Government as a CPA and has held senior leadership positions with the Delaware Department of Finance, the Delaware Department of Transportation and the Office of Auditor of Accounts, overseeing statewide financial reporting, treasury operations, internal controls, budgeting, debt management and audit oversight. Prior to her career with State Government, she worked in public accounting in Delaware. Her teaching interest is to provide students with practical, real-world insights that bridge accounting theory and professional practice while preparing them for successful careers in accounting and finance.
