Jing Ma is an assistant professor in the Department of Hospitality and Sport Business Management in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware. She earned her Ph.D. in hospitality and tourism management from Purdue University. Dr. Ma has experience in the foodservice industry across the globe. She worked closely with a number of restaurant chains in China as well as health departments and several restaurants/restaurant chains in the United States. Dr. Ma’s research interests are in the fields of foodservice management and hospitality analytics. Her research has been published in such top academic journals as the International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Food Protection, Food Control and Appetite. Her teaching interests are in the areas of foodservice management, food safety, and hospitality analytics.
