John D’Arcy is a professor in the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware. He is also the Robert and Kathy Deutsch Faculty Fellow. He holds a doctorate in business administration from Temple University with a specialization in management information systems. Prior to joining academia, he was employed by Ford Motor Company as a cost accountant and financial systems analyst.
D’Arcy’s research interests include information security and IT risk management. Journals where his research appears include MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems and MIT Sloan Management Review. He serves as associate editor at MIS Quarterly and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems.
