Ted graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in finance and economics and received an MBA from Northeastern University. He spent most of his career at Johnson & Johnson, progressing through their sales and marketing organizations. His key responsibilities at J&J included managing large ($300+ Million) pharmaceutical brands, leading a 450-person sales organization, directing a medical device pipeline and marketing organization as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, as well leading the commercialization of an internal start-up venture.
Ted joined the University of Delaware in 2016 and is currently an adjunct faculty member within Horn Entrepreneurship where he teaches entrepreneurial marketing and sales courses. In 2013, he completed the National Science Foundation iCorps Program as an industry mentor to a team of UD engineering students. He is an advisor and consultant to UD originated start-ups and others in the health sciences. Since 2018 Ted has been an advisory council member for the UD College of Health Sciences.
