Alumni Awards of Excellence

The 2026 Lerner Alumni Awards of Excellence and Rising Star Award will be presented as part of the Lerner Alumni Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 29, in the Lerner Atrium. Please take a moment and nominate a worthy Blue Hen for either the Alumni Award of Excellence or the Rising Star Award.

The nomination period for the 2026 Lerner Alumni Awards of Excellence and Rising Star Award is open now through 5 p.m. on April 27. Please submit your nomination here.

Lerner College Alumni Award of Excellence

The Alumni Award of Excellence is presented each year to select alumni who have exhibited exceptional accomplishments, including professional success, contribution to the community, giving back to Lerner College and a commitment to excellence. Awarded by the Lerner College Alumni Board and Lerner College, nominations are welcome from alumni, faculty, staff and the University community.

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award recognizes recent alumni who exemplify the qualities and spirit of our Alumni Awards of Excellence. Please consider nominating an outstanding recent graduate, one who demonstrates excellence and is creating a difference in their career and community. Please indicate within the comment section if the nomination is for consideration for a Rising Star Alumni Award of Excellence.
