The customizable Lerner College graduate certificate in business fundamentals will equip you with the business concepts and skills you need.

With courses such as financial management, corporate strategy and marketing management, the business fundamentals certificate will meet your needs, whether you are:

  • Seeking advancement or a change in your career
  • Considering the Lerner MBA and would like to preview the subjects and coursework
  • Pursuing another graduate program and want to augment your studies with business knowledge

Working with an academic advisor, you will choose four courses that will be most beneficial to you.

Program Requirements

All courses are worth 3 credits. Maintain a 3.0 GPA to be awarded the certificate.

Some of the courses have prerequisite requirements. Other graduate business courses may be approved by an advisor as applicable.

Continue to the Lerner MBA

Only 26 additional credits are needed to complete the Lerner MBA after completion of the business fundamentals certificate. To pursue the full Lerner MBA, apply for admission to the MBA program upon completion of the certificate program.
