MBA + M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The dual M.S. in electrical & computer engineering/MBA provides you with the necessary skills to broaden your engineering knowledge while gaining a detailed understanding of the business environment. Although it does not preclude the possibility of engineering research (if you choose to pursue the engineering master’s degree with thesis), the dual degree can be achieved with a non-thesis master’s degree in engineering.

Program Requirements

The dual degree program offers a faster time to completion than pursuing the degrees separately. The program counts 15 engineering credits toward the MBA, reducing the required credit hours to 62. In order to take advantage of this credit savings, you must be admitted to the dual degree program before completing either the engineering or MBA program.

STEM Business Program

This STEM-designated business program builds the quantitative, analytical and technical skills employers prioritize today, such as data analysis, AI fundamentals, financial modeling and technological proficiency. STEM occupations are high earning, with a median wage double that of non-STEM fields, and are projected to grow faster than overall employment, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
