Format

The Lerner MBA with a major finance is an on-campus program. You can also take several courses online, giving you more flexibility and allowing you to complete your degree faster. The concentration in finance is available on campus or online.

The Lerner MBA’s core business courses and professional development classes give you a solid base of business management knowledge. Then choose a finance specialization option.

Major in Finance
The finance major requires 5 courses and offers an in-depth study in finance.

Concentration in Finance
The finance concentration requires 3 courses and offers a broad view of business finance. In addition to the 9 credits of the concentration, you will choose an additional 6 credits of electives.

Quantitative Finance, choose 3 courses from:
FINC 652 – Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management
FINC 616 – Derivative Securities & Risk Management
FINC 662 – Fixed Income Securities
And any quantitative FINC course when offered
 
General Finance, Any 3 FINC courses beyond FINC 650 – Financial Management
