The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics celebrated numerous outstanding students for their academic successes during the 2026 Honors and Achievements Day ceremony on April 24 in Purnell Hall.
Lerner’s mission is to facilitate our students’ success and foster intellectually curious and globally-minded lifelong learners with a leadership mindset. This year, we are recognizing more than 200 students for their hard work, generosity, passion, commitment, and leadership, among many other laudable attributes. They have demonstrated dedication through achieving excellence, whether through academic performance, industry achievements, or community service.
“Since I joined Lerner, I’ve been deeply impressed by the drive, talent, and heart of our students. You are not only succeeding academically — you are pushing boundaries, solving real-world problems, and leading with purpose,” said Lerner College Dean Oliver Yao.
“To the families, friends, and supporters here today: thank you. Your encouragement and belief in these students helped make this moment possible.”
Individual awards and recognition can be seen in the event program.
