The Lerner Co-op Program was recently featured on the Poets&Quants for Undergrads website.

The story details the program, as 22 students in the pilot class experience a new year-long work-based learning initiative launched with a grant from the Delaware Workforce Development Board.

The students have been placed into paid roles at 16 Delaware companies, allowing them to gain real work experience over a 12-month span. They work full-time during the summer and winter breaks, scaling back to part-time hours during the academic year while managing their courseload.

The story includes quotes from students Andrew Poggi and Kaylee Chau, Lerner Career Services staff members Minda Watson and Brandon White, and employers Christina MacMillan (M. Davis & Sons) and Jen Girouard (Diamond Technologies).
