The M.S. in accounting prepares you for a career in public accounting, information systems consulting, industry or government. In this program, you’ll experience advanced study in each major area of accounting — financial, managerial, information systems, auditing and taxation — and gain a foundation for further study at the Ph.D. level.
The M.A. in economics offers a rigorous curriculum with a less technical, more applied approach to economics with less focus on analytics than the M.S. in economics program. As you prepare for a public or private sector career, you can complete courses in econometrics as well as microeconomic and macroeconomic theory.
Economics and Applied Econometrics (M.S.)
The M.S. in economics and applied econometrics is ideal for students who have majored in economics as undergraduates and want more specialized training. In addition to theory and econometrics courses, you’ll choose from a wide range of electives, including international monetary economics, economic development, labor economics, public finance, industrial organization and regulation, financial economics, and natural resource and environmental economics.
Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators (M.A.)
