Minor in Business Administration
Understanding business concepts will prepare you to work in any organization, large or small.
The minor in business administration prepares you with:
- Essential concepts of business administration
- Training in business language
- Understanding of the major functional areas of business
Open to students in economics majors and students outside the Lerner College of Business and Economics, the business administration minor will give you a solid foundation in business principles with coursework covering a variety of subjects including operations, marketing, management and economics.

Application Process & Eligibility
The minor in business administration is only open to majors in economics and those outside of the Lerner College of Business & Economics.

The minor is awarded only to students who have applied and been admitted to the program. Admission is based on the availability of seats and the GPA of the student. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 will be required for consideration. Students must complete 28 credits at the University of Delaware prior to application.
Students must earn a grade of C- or better in all of the required courses. The credits required for the business administration minor may also be used to meet other distribution requirements, such as degree breadth requirements and professional electives.
