Minor in Management

The minor in management helps you develop the skills every industry needs: communication, collaboration and the ability to lead teams. Open to all University of Delaware undergraduates, except management majors, it’s a strong complement to any degree. Whether you want to lead creative teams, run a campaign or manage a museum, you’ll be primed for the responsibilities that come with career advancement.
The management minor will increase the value of your undergraduate degree by:
- Building your skills in communication and coordination
- Preparing you to make decisions when facing higher levels of risk and uncertainty
- Training you to supervise teams and manage projects in any workplace
Program Requirements
To earn the minor, students must complete 18 total credits. Students must earn a C- or better in all courses applied to the minor beyond BUAD 309. No more than six credits may overlap with a student’s major.

Application Process & Eligibility
The program is open to all UD undergraduates except management majors. To declare the minor, students must complete BUAD 309 with a B- minimum grade.
